Messy Church

Recognising the need for people of all ages and backgrounds to be able to explore their faith in an environment of fun and freedom, we launched Messy Church in 2012, in the Lower Hall, Christ Church, Lofthouse. Sessions involve games, painting, sticking, etc, so don’t come dressed in your best clothes! There will be a time of worship, so bring your singing voice (but don’t worry if you haven’t got one!) and there will be food, so bring your appetite too! We expect parents/carers to stay for the whole of the session...and join in (grandparents, neighbours, etc are welcome too) because the principle of Messy Church is for everyone to journey in the exploration of faith together. Adults have much to teach children, but children too, have much to teach adults! So just turn up and be prepared to release your inner creative streak…be prepared to get messy and have fun!

Due to the current regulations during the Covid-19 pandemic,

Messy Church sessions are not going ahead until further notice.
