Lofthouse - G2H (Grief to Hope)

Bereavement can be a lonely, scary, journey. The author, CS Lewis wrote...“For in grief nothing "stays put." One keeps on emerging from a phase, but it always recurs. Round and round. Everything repeats. Am I going in circles, or dare I hope I am on a spiral? But if a spiral, am I going up or down it? How often -- will it be for always? -- how often will the vast emptiness astonish me like a complete novelty and make me say, "I never realized my loss till this moment"? The same leg is cut off time after time.”
― C.S. Lewis, A Grief Observed
If you have been bereaved, please do feel welcome to come along to our fortnightly drop-in cafe (called G2H Grief to Hope)
We have a group of trained volunteers who will lend a listening ear and support to all who attend. The format is relaxed; an introduction for the whole group then a chance to chat and share experiences with people around smaller tables. No rules, no judgement...the chance to be yourself and find the support of new friends.
